Extensively experienced and proficient in: Retail, Customer Service, Entertainment and Events, Vacation Ownership, Business to Business, Direct sales, Network Marketing, Commodities, Design, People Skills, Sales Psychology and achieving my goals.
Highlights include successfully operating my own large Destination Pub/Restaurant in the U.K. for 10 years, running a 4 star hotel in Gozo, Malta for 2 years. I started, built up and managed a successful entertainment business operating nationwide in the U.K. involving music road shows and M.C. services at events.
I have been very successful in the holiday ownership business in Indonesia for many years now, in cold-line, front to back closer (C.L. and In-House), Sales and Marketing Manager.I most recently set up a new and exciting experimental venture in Holiday Ownership and Marketing with my own company with 'unexpected' results, which I look upon as a positive learning curve in Asia.
I am now an International Team Leader at Marriott Vacation Club International.

Marriott approached me early in 2018 and asked if I would be interested to join as a Sales Executive. I agreed but within a very short time I was promoted to Manager (International Sales Team Leader) level. Since that time I have achieved top volume in 3 of the last six years and was given an 'Excellence Always' award in 2021.

KRA was designed to partner exclusively with a progressive, forward thinking hotel or hotel group to generate sales of premium memberships on their behalf and maximize profit potential. However a suitable partnership did not eventuate due mainly to many resort owners wrongly viewing Timeshare as a bad bet and having a less than glowing reputation in Bali due to being badly sold and marketed by a small number of people.
Rather than viewing this as unsuccessful I see it as a valuable learning experience of doing business in Indonesia. My 'ethical' style of selling which puts the clients' needs first dramatically increased business at my previous company (see below) and created a very happy and satisfied client (membership) base.

I was offered a Management position by the owner but had already made a decision to move to ATC (above) after severe staff shortages negatively affected business at Club Bali.

The Offley Arms is a large 18th century Public House and Restaurant in Cheshire, England. It was a failing business when I took it over. Myself and my partner turned it into a popular and successful 'destination' family venue building food trade and completely changing the character of the place.
The local populace at the time gave us 6 months before we gave up (based on many others trying, and failing, to make the right changes). We were there nearly 10 years and finally decided to sell because of the emergence of "Chain" venues popping up everywhere which dramatically undercut independent pubs such as ours.

I was successful in Business to Business Direct Sales in the UK in commodities such as Fruit Juices and Coffee (Rantor UK) and Couveture (Callebaut Belgium) I also managed a 4* hotel in Gozo, Malta for two years and, earlier, set up my own entertainment business operating mobile disco's across the country (UK) and guesting at various nightclubs.
